I have always been fascinated by the visceral narrative conveyed by still images. As means of selfless expression, photography helps me connect with nature and allows me to explore fragments of life and interact with people I would otherwise not engage with.

This John Muir’s quote sums my pursuit and journey best.

“The sun shines not on us but in us. The rivers flow not past, but through us. Thrilling, tingling, vibrating every fibre and cell of the substance of our bodies, making them glide and sing. The trees wave and the flowers bloom in our bodies as well as our souls, and every bird song, wind song, and tremendous storm song of the rocks in the heart of the mountains is our song, our very own, and sings our love.”

Pranit is an avid shutter bug. As a solo traveller, and a nature lover, Pranit’s mettle comes from juxtaposing his travel experiences with wonders of life, love for nature, and a pursuit to absolve the ‘self’ through photography.

Pranit is based in Hyderabad and has been pursuing photography for close to a decade. His keen interest lies in the Himalayan landscape and in portrait photography. Over the years, he has travelled across vast swathes of Ladakh documenting the natural and cultural splendour of this region.
